Ahh yes. The one other member of the Bakery gang I still can’t seem to draw like I picture him.

Choux is a big, moody jerk who would have lost his job at Red’s bakery years ago due to his poor attitude toward customers and coworkers alike if it weren’t for the fact that he can do the work of four people by himself. He openly dislikes everyone, except Red. He’s just kind of sassy with Red but Red can return the sass. So he just tends to lock himself in the back, only letting Red get in without any kind of nasty comments.

Red and Choux went to culinary school together but aren’t exactly the company they’d choose to have on a Friday night. They lived on the same floor in their dorm during school and occasionally had classes together but Red was always put off by Choux’s attitude. However, he was impressed by his natural talents for baking so he went out of his way to hire Choux when he opened his bakery.

Choux is a profiterole (subspecies of Sweetness), rather short, and heavyset. As much as he dislikes people, he’s got a soft spot for Crepe. They date on and off, but never really settled on if what they’re doing is something serious. Crepe wants it to be but Choux just thinks Crepe is young and stupid. He’s not at all fond of Ginger simply because he finds her voice and overly sweet disposition annoying. gLow comes in often, usually after long nights of partying which Choux despises. He can’t put his finger on why but he simply hates gLow and his ‘dude chill’ personality.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Neither; they tend to sleep facing each other or with Crepe’s face buried in Choux’s chest. Choux is still getting used to Crepe being so cuddly in his sleep though.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Crepe’s favorite is cuddling; Choux isn’t always completely comfortable with it seeing as Crepe can get pretty handsy but Crepe tries to go with the flow of what Choux is alright with. Choux favorite is cooking; it’s not that he likes cooking for Crepe specifically, he just likes cooking in general.
who uses all the hot water in the morning: Neither; they usually shower at their own places. Choux takes short, cold showers while Crepe’s showers vary on his mood and how much time he has to take one.
what they order from take out: Everything and anything; Crepe likes ordering food in advance because he’s usually too lazy to cook after classes and work. He usually orders for Choux too, which he doesn’t appreciate because 1) he likes cooking his own food and 2) Crepe orders way too much food.
what is the most trivial thing they fight over: Cleanliness and being affectionate in public; (cleanliness is explained below); Choux is strongly against public displays of affection, while Crepe loves being ‘lovey dovey’ at every opportunity. Choux is alright with being affectionate among friends and at home but it makes him uncomfortable in public (it’s really a self esteem issue thing).
who does most of the cleaning: Choux; he can’t stand things being dirty and will stay late after his shifts at the bakery to clean dishes/pans. His apartment is immaculate, at least until Crepe comes over.
who leaves their stuff around: Crepe; even when he’s staying over Choux’ apartment, he tends to leave dishes on the counter/table, his clothes on the ground, shit he can’t even be bothered to keep his shoes in the entry way. Choux will bitch him out for it, only to clean up after him.
who remembers to buy the milk: Choux; Crepe doesn’t usually drink milk because of how his body reacts to it (i.e. he doesn’t like how it makes him smell) so Choux ends up having to make second trips to the market to get milk because Crepe still isn’t used to getting it.
who remembers anniversaries: Crepe; he’s big into anniversaries so he’ll usually make reservations at a nice restaurant, get Choux flowers and such. Choux is usually too flustered to do much of anything except make Crepe breakfast.

WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME PICK? I’ve answered what some of my favorite character’s childhoods were like in those character memes I did a while back so the three I go with aren’t necessarily my favorites. Also I hate picking favorites. ;_; Favorites’ names will be bolded, least favorites’ names with be italicized.

Sorhte: Relatively boring. He really didn’t bother to learn to swim very fast like he show have. Most of his time was spent just hanging around with his lusus, floating on the water surface, and collecting (and sampling) as many plants as he could. He used to challenge himself to go further and further down in the ocean until he could reach the bottom. Once he hit about 6-7 sweeps, he started to slow down due to eating poisonous sea plants for so long. He met Serjii a few sweeps earlier and was actually really shy around her at first. He’d leave her packages of sea plants until she finally caught him in the act. Then kawaii pale feels ensued. Sorhte was a ridiculously happy kid but was rather shy. He didn’t come out of his shell until the long term side effects of eating nothing but poisonous sea plants for the first 6 sweeps of his life kicked in.

MP3: He really didn’t have a ‘childhood’ as humans do but he did have a few months of time in the labs when he was first created. They found a few bugs they were trying to iron out when they first made him and didn’t feel like destroying him and wasting valuable materials. So they spent a few months trying to iron out the bugs. He was terrified of everyone except the lead technician; he clung to her for dear life and would make horrid screeching noises when she had to leave at the end of the day, then ‘sob’ (i.e. awful static) until she got back. After a few months of work, they fixed (most of) the bugs and sent him on his way. He still keeps in contact with the lead technician though.

Choux: Pretty good save for the fact that he was viciously picked on in school. His father was pretty absent from his childhood as he was often away on business. His mother owned a small coffee shop about two blocks down the road from their house. Choux was always rather short and, being a Profiterole (sub species of Sweetness), is rather heavyset so he was the butt of his classmate’s jokes, being one of the about half dozen Profiteroles at the school. He grew up bitter about his stature and weight and still has lingering self image problems. He used to turn down everyone who would show any kin of interest in him until he went to university. His mother still treats him like her little baby and his father isn’t really the best when it comes to Choux’s problems about his weight (basically tells him to deal with it, it’s natural and how he was born; also nags Choux when he mentions dieting). His father wishes he had gone to school for business or accounting while his mother is thrilled he became a chef.

Picking least favorites is hard so I’ll just pick those who I would like least if I met them in person.

Grace: She was pampered and given anything she ever wanted. She held herself above everyone else and threw a fit if she didn’t get what she wanted. She was raised in a rich part of the city and never really took the time to appreciate all that she had. Being kicked out on her ass when she threw a party that trashed her parents’ house was rather humbling though. Also, the whole, you know, dying thing. She died in a house fire around 17; because her body was burned though, she became a ghost by default. She moved out to the bayou a year later after an older ghost told her to stop bitching and make the most out of being a ghost.

Sucrose: Due to her white skin, Sucrose was left to die in the wastelands. She was later picked up by a small band of group of ghoul nomads who raised her. However, ghouls are particularly shitty parents for the most part and taught her what they teach normal ghoul children (i.e. how to be violent, the best way to kill every species, how to take back the land the Deimos “stole” from them, etc). Once she started showing signs of magic though, they kicked her out on her ass. She made it to a small Deimos colony where she learned the bare minimums she needed to know about magic before destroying the colony. By that point, her lack of venting her magic caused her growth to stunt slightly so she never grew any taller than about 5 feet. Sucrose has no real reason for being a bitch, she just is. All she learned as a child was how to survive and it worked for her so she didn’t try to fix what wasn’t broken.

I’ve answered this like….two or three times now. I’m running out of characters, anon. Also answering this for kinks too because this list of characters doesn’t really have many fetishes.

Picking characters that I won’t do for that character development meme (at least for a while)

Grace: She loves going on massive shopping sprees, even if she doesn’t have enough trading material for things. She also hoards scraps of gems, precious metals, and stones she doesn’t use in her charms even though she should technically return them to her clients.
Nog: She likes playing with her own boobs…..a lot. Normally, it’s not even for sexual reasons. She’ll just sit around her apartment in her panties and play with her boobs for no reason. She’ll also buy cartons of eggnog and try to make them last but she’ll usually finish a carton in a day or two.
Choux: He tends to go on baking sprees on his days off from work. Of course, then he has nothing to do with what he just baked so he ends up eating it all over the course of a few days…..then proceeds to hate himself for a few days. He also binge drinks when he goes out with friends even though his tolerance isn’t the best.

Do these all fall under vices? I don’t know.
